    Hi Mark

I only saw this now, March 29, so sorry re late reply. I am shooting from a public road and some of the development is just beside the road.I should have said some of it is on or bordering the public road as in walls too.

But I was reading https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1839887.Licensing_Photography and he says property may need a release. So is the work their property, is it recognisable is the question he asks. Is a public road works recognisable?

I have heard of a differnt works where the shooter sold the footage to a different construction company.

    Thanks for reply

I think that the papers print at 72dpi so if they print larger than the 6×4 you provided they should still be ok.

    Thanks. Not published yet anyway

Hi all the resources these courses provide are online or in books, and sometimes an hour with a professional photographer is worth more than an online course for a fraction of the price.Online course without interaction with a tutor is useless in my mind.

then book an hour with a professional. and experiment with your camera. take different shots at differnt settings and see what happens.

    Hello JustExposin,

Thank you for sharing its very nice website but As i am also a newbie i want to learn more deep knowledge, Can you please share more resources for me?

    Thanks

There is plenty deep knowledge on that site in an advanced course. anything i know i learned from his free videos and then practise and find my own style.Did you watch all his free videos and practise?

Please note I have no contact with the site and am not advertising it. i find him good to teach and not full of himself as so many are. That does not mean i just copy all he does.

“Did you sell it as Rights Managed or Royalty free?

I sold it as my copyright in that it had “copyright my name”. What wording would i need to have a royalty?

I now have had four pictures published and got paid but they have not used anything of mine for ages. Should i ask why or just give up submitting. Or if i have a photo should i email and say i have a pic of x are you interested instead of just sending it in. The picture i have had published are of thing that were in the news or likely to be so i shot and sent. But the ones not published are also newsy items. Thanks

I think this is what the verified paid rate for an image was in 2010. Was your published in print of on the website?

I’m curious because I’ve had a number of images used by the likes of VIP magazine online and Goss.ie and am not sure what to invoice them.

I did not have an image in the indo. I wondered what that meant. Is it if someone else uses your image which was on the indo site? Your images used by VIP were originally on the indo site?

Your question is too vague. .You will need to be more specific in your question as to how much you want to spend. What you want it for. Do you want a point and shoot or a DSLR where you can change lenses

You can practice composition with any camera but if you want to practice shallow depth of field will need more than basic point and shoot.

    And watch http://www.photographycourses.biz/videos/reviews-and-help/help-and-advice/learn-photography-faster-1″ onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false;

    and

I think that the variable stop filters are commonly used with video tbh. I’d love to get into it but it sounds like having to get even more gear :)

You could also use for stills of waterfalls etc?
