Haven’t posted on here in ages, so decided I would share some photos I took last year with my Mavic Pro. It’s impressive that the drone is able to stay steady long enough to get relatively long exposures, I like how it gives freedom when choosing a composition.

Great examples of what can be done with relatively affordable drones.
Getting the camera off the air an up in the air gives an amazingly different perspective and quite dramatic too.

They are a wonderful device for photography, I find even using using the DSLR I spend more time considering the composition, like I would with the drone.
As for flying the drone, I bought parts and put one together around 8 years ago and it was a challenge to fly. The Mavic on the other hand really does all the work itself, and its just a case of deciding were you want to position it.
