Currywurst

One of Berlin’s famous dishes is the currywurst. Currywurst is made by frying a wurst (sausage) and then covering it with a curry ketchup. You may find currywurst in many sit down restaurants but a great way to eat currywurst is as street food from a booth on a paper plate using a small plastic fork.
Often the dish is served with bread or as you can see in this photograph with fries covered in curry ketchup and a sprinkling of curry powder.
