I think I’ll stick with my two 7D’s for another while, but I’m sure there are many photographers that will love the 7D mkii. :)

Intial reports/reviews on test models of this new camera are great. See the review below from Andy Rouse a wildlife photographer based in the UK. I would trust his reviews 100% as he is always spot on.

I use a 7D and while its a great camera the noise at higher ISO’s lets it down in my opinion. What are other peoples experiences??
I used a 450D previously so was a big step up. If I find myself shooting wildlife on damp/murky days and have to bump up the ISO I always find myself slightly dissappointed with the noise in the images at 800ISO and above.

This new version seems to have fixed this issue, now to decide if its worht going for or keep my money and keep saving for a prime telephoto…

Yeah, the high ISO noise of the 7D is it’s biggest let down, but for me personally, I just deal with it in software. I think if I was to upgrade, I’d go for the 5d mk iii.
